So I know I haven't been on since Thanksgiving , but, retail has kept me very busy!! I am sorry Lauren! But don't worry, I'm back! I am all decorated for Christmas and really enjoying the holiday atmosphere at Easton. For the past two days there has been crazy strong winds blowing through Ohio! And about a 30 degree temperature drop!!!! When the wind dies down I will take some pictures of my decorations to show you! Until then, let me fill you in on Thanksgiving:
The Holidays are here!!!! I am so excited! John and Lauren are coming in from Georgia tomorrow and I have been busy! Recently I have become incredibly organized with the help of Mary and Martha and have been non stop. Tonight I have wrapped the early Christmas presents that I am giving, cleaned the car, cleaned the entire apartment, done three loads of laundry, organized my things to take home, planned my outfits and painted my nails!! I even remembered to water all of my plants! Not to mention we had a surprise visit from a Chicago big wig today at work and I had to get a new cell phone at lunch from Verizon since mine went on the fritz:( I did great with the visit! I knew my business inside and out and was able to spout off my important numbers with accuracy and confidence! One more day of work then I will be headed home! I am making the cheese ball, my first contribution since my turkey favors of years past. I can't wait to wake up to the smell of Thanksgiving turkey and the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade! Happy Thanksgiving!
I really put these pictures up just to show my mother! Anyhow, I got these silver balls for a dollar each. They are old Christmas decorations from my store that they no longer use. They are big, about the size of a softball! They might be too big for my purple vase? Too big for anything I currently own for that matter. I'll enjoy them anyways!
Finally some rain! I have had these cute rain boots and no occasion to wear them! I wore them on my errands today. Only five days of work til my Thanksgiving vacation! Its only two days but I'll take it!
Couldn't wait any longer! Isn't it pretty? At work we don't decorate until the day after Thanksgiving...(it makes the season so much more enjoyable that way!) so I figured I would start on my house. I have also gathered all of my Christmas DVDs and started watching!
I had the day off and Dad came down this afternoon. We went to Easton to replace Mary's mixer. I got a dinner out of the deal too! We went to Fado's, one of his favorite places. We also stopped into Nordstrom. It was warm enough to walk around and they are starting to put up the lights! Very pretty on winter nights!
Aren't they just wonderful! I must say I am quite tickled when I have enough laundry for a load! People say the joy of owning your own washer and dryer will get old, but i highly doubt it!
I slept in til 1:00 today!!! Then I went shopping! While out I thought I would try one of those new trendy grey/purplish shades of OPI nail polish. My color is called Parlez-vois OPI? I might be more of a classic red, light pink kind of girl, but it's growing on me!
One of my favorite places to go is Skully's downtown for Ladies 80's on Thursday nights. The best night of all being Halloween! I always make my own costume and always have one of the best! Don't I make a great peacock?!?
Today was Matt and Lori's OSU Football party. The place was full of kids! I spent the night in the playroom playing with Grant and Grandma Farmer. I LOVE Grant's loud, raspy voice! It cracks me up! I was telling Lori about my Halloween costume and she wanted to see pictures. So, I will post some!
